Cannes Lions 2026

Turns out, a beach is a perfectly reasonable place to build an enterprise marketing experience.

For Cannes Lions 2026, Canva returned to the Croisette with a much bigger Creative Cabana and a much bigger ask: turn a beachfront venue into a place where CMOs could take meetings, discover the product, catch programming, eat extremely well, make things, shop merch and occasionally forget they were technically at a business conference.

As Associate Creative Director, I led the experiential creative across the Cabana, working from early strategy through design development, guest journey, activations, programming moments, hospitality and the mountain of tiny details that make a temporary world feel real.

We built a confetti shower, a postcard parlor powered by Canva AI, a dream-destination experience, a gelateria, a surf shop full of Canva Originals, live data storytelling, product moments, executive hospitality, happy hours, Pride programming and so. Many. Custom signage, props, uniforms, menus, merch and strange little Easter eggs to make the place feel like the tiny beachfront universe it is.

I also led the reimagined executive dinner experience, where Magic Mike returned, Santa Elvis drank rosé in Ancient Rome, and a room full of executives accidentally invented the first and only, Rosé Holiday.

And if the Teletubbies at our Pride party didn’t make it into your feed at some point this summer, I have questions.

I spent roughly nine months helping turn a very large deck of even larger ambitions into a real place in the South of France. There were more moodboards, render rounds and tiny creative decisions than I could count, an unreasonable amount of literal dripping sweat, and a lot of proof that B2B does not have to be boring.

And seriously a team of like 100 others and countless vendors and partners I could go on and on about.
