Curated Portfolio for 4As Foundation '18 Operation Jumpstart Scholarship
Here are some portfolio pieces I’ve chosen to highlight, however feel free to search through my website and check out some of the other work I’ve done!
Concept Development for Peachtree Playthings
I very recently worked as a designer for a toy company that created licensed craft items for major retailers like Walmart, Dollar Tree and Target. The best part of my job was when I got to play around with new concepts and try to create something out of nothing. The above item is a brand new, never before seen in stores concept that something my team and I created from scratch. The light up castle concept is one I saw through start to finish.
Using LED tape and mini lightbulbs, I hand created this castle/dragon play scene that lights up. The entire process on the consumer end is meant to be an activity, from the creation of the play scene to decorating to lighting it up from a board all by yourself!
I love creating brands from scratch. The above two are examples of some of the identity work I’ve done for a real water company (on the left) and a company I decided to make up one night on a whim.
I tend to see the world through relationships. Relationships in nature. Friendships. And sometimes quite literally, relationships. Wedding photography is a stressful field to get into as a photographer, however it’s something I love shooting almost every weekend. It gives me a chance to stay creative even on my “off” days and I get to bask in the beauty of a day that’s meant to celebrate love.
Creative Advertising Video
Lastly, I’d like to showcase a video I did a year ago for my love for creatives in advertising. I talked a lot about circus even though I did not enroll at the time. I actually got a job in design shortly after making this video and decided against applying to circus. A year later and my heart still yearned for being surrounded by like-minded creative individuals and I found myself applying. Anyway, enjoy!
